Eye-catching cover graphics are an Editora Todavia standard, and that challenge was accepted for both Argentinian author Maria Gainza’s O nervo óptico and the Portuguese translation of Analise Chen’s So Many Olympic Exertions. For the former, empty frames prompt the imaginative participation of the reader, while the latter’s vivid imagery freezes an athletic leap mid-air. (Side-note: the swimmer is Ana!)
